Charity concert in aid of Marie Curie

Mayor of Lisburn, Councillor Andrew Ewing, recently launched the upcoming Charity March Concert featuring Hugo Duncan and Friends, which is to take place in the Island Hall, Lagan Valley Island on Wednesday March 18 at 8pm.

The charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care, will benefit from the proceeds.

Mr Ewing said: “I am delighted that this year’s headline act is Hugo Duncan, one of the best known country stars to several generations.

“I am a big fan of Hugo and was delighted he took the time in his busy schedule to launch this concert.

“Next Wednesday night his friends – Lisa McHugh, Brian Coll, Country Harmony and Johnny Brady, will join him.

“Also taking part to keep the crowd entertained is Irish Radio DJ Gary Gamble who hosts an American drive and country radio show on Highland Radio. I hope you agree that this is an excellent entertainment line-up, which will have everyone tapping their feet and singing along to many of the country classics.”
