Charity dance to save church roof in Ballinascreen

All proceeds are in aid of the Building Repair Fund for St Columba’s Parish Church Draperstown following major renovations necessitated by dry rot.

The Rector, Rev Carmen Hayes, and the parishioners are indebted to Marie Gilloway from Maghera who has spearheaded this event with the aid of friends and sponsors.

Marie recognised the plight of the small group of parishioners faced with a large repair bill and promptly offered to help.

She has been able to secure the musical talents of Sammy Miskelly and there will be a free draw and an auction. Admission will be by a minimum donation of £5 which includes supper. Whether you want to twirl around the floor or just watch the talent all are welcome.
