Charity events in memory of Dolores

Two fundraising events have been organised by the family of a Craigavon woman who died from kidney failure.

Dolores King (46) passed away on July 2 this year, and money raised from an adventure day and gala night will go to the NI Kidney Research Fund.

Dolores had undergone two transplants and always “kept going and was positive about everything”.

The first event on Friday, November 28 will be an adventure day at Oxford Island. It will include a sponsored walk, canoeing, archery and, weather permitting, a barbecue. It will start at 11am and everyone is welcome.

The following night, Saturday, a gala charity night will take place in the Celtic Club, Lurgan, featuring music, food, dancing and prizes.
