Charity night raises more than £10k
A STAGGERING £10,000 was raised for the Southern Area Hospice at the School Around the Corner event last week in the Coach Inn.
And the figure is expected to keep growing as donations continue to roll in.
The organisers wish to thank participants and the people of Banbridge for their great support on the night. Others deserving of a mention include Robert Martin, Newry Street who sponsored a weekend in Donegal, the Planter’s Tavern in Waringstown who gave a meal for two and not least Dominic Quinn for making the Coach and his staff available on the night.
The organisers hope to maje a DVD of the night available for sale in Walsh’s Newsagents by the end of the week.
