Charity paranormal night

It's a fundraising night with a difference when the mysterious and unexplained are investigated by the Lurgan Paranormal Society and you can test yourself to see if you have what it takes to be a paranormal investigator.

Taking place on Saturday, April 1, from 10pm until 2am, the Society, who are a technology-based paranormal research group, will take participants to as yet an undisclosed location for an exciting night of all things chilling which is guaranteed to make the hairs on your neck stand on end.

A ‘spokesperson’ for the Lurgan Paranormal Society explained why the event is being held.

“We heard about a local family who received devastating news earlier this year that one of their children has been diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Instrinsic Pontine Glioma), which is a high grade incurable brain tumour and we wanted to do something to raise some money to be able to give them a fun day out as a family.

“We will be holding an indoor investigation and the cost is just £15 with refreshments included and it will take place at a secret location just outside Portadown.

“We will reveal the location on the night but I can tell you the building dates back to 1795 and has lots of history attached to it. Everyone will meet at Donna’s Doner Richill between 9pm and 9.30pm before we make our way to the site of the investigation.

“Places are limited and I would urge anyone who is interested to get in touch with us through the Lurgan Paranormal Society facebook page or by calling 07767322160.

“If you have any interest in the paranormal then this will be a great night to come along to and the best thing is you are raising money to help a local family going through a devastating time.”
