Charity Show in memory of Karen

STUDENTS are hosting a charity fashion show to raise funds for the rescue organisation that helped search for the late University of Ulster employee Karen Coyles.

Final year Leisure and Event Management students are organising the event to raise funds for the Community Rescue Service.

A member of staff at the University of Ulster, Karen went missing on September 12.

The Community Rescue Service coordinated one of the largest land and sea searches ever undertaken in Northern Ireland. Its volunteers worked relentlessly for 11 days to find Karen.

This fashion extravaganza is in the Diamond, University of Ulster, Coleraine, on Wednesday, November 30 at 8pm.

For students there will be a free bus leaving for Kelly’s, Portrush, shortly after the show.
