The family and friends of the late Mark Black have decided to organise a charity tractor run in his memory.

Mark lost his battle to melanoma skin cancer in August last year at the age of 24, just over two years after being diagnosed.

He had planned the route for the tractor run in July 2013 but sadly wasn’t able to take part himself therefore this year’s event will follow the same route.

The tractor run will take place on Saturday, August 2, to raise money for CLIC Sargent & Friends of the Cancer Centre.

Mark attended various tractor runs and vintage shows in his Massey 35 - sometimes with his blue ‘Ford’ buggy in tow. The Massey 35 will lead the run and his buggy, ploughs and potato dropper will be on display on the day.

The event will begin at 11am sharp leaving Braeside Bar and Restaurant, travelling to Lissan, on to Lough Fea & back to Braeside for a BBQ (weather permitting). There will also be a Charity Walk/Run at 2pm leaving from the Braeside for everyone else who would like to take part followed by a Kids Fun Day at 3pm where you can watch the home coming run.

Mark’s family and friends would like to thank you in advance for your generous support which will be greatly appreciated.
