Cheque presentation for Beatheasy

THREE people, Margaret O'Neill, Mary McKillen, Denis M Michael and Teresa Kearns would like to thank Shan McGinn for all the help in running a charity dance for Breatheasy Causeway ,which was held in the Carrick-a-Rede hotel in Ballintoy.

Also a big thank-you to Logans Coaches and McGinns Coaches who put on buses for the guests to go to the charity event.

A special thankyou to all the ticket sellers and one,s who donated gifts for the auction.The charity nite was a great success and a grand total of 3320.00 was raised,and goes to the worthy Breatheasy Causeway group.

Denis McMichael would like to thank all who parked on his premises and who camped over on the days of the King of the Road races in Armoy for their donations to the Breatheasy Causeway Group.

The Breatheasy Causeway Group is your local lung support group which was set up in 2001 to support people and their carers living with lung disease .Breatheasy Causeway is affiliated to the British Lung Fundation which provides support for over 20 thousand people living with lung disease through Breatheasy groups.

The group meets every first Thursday each month in the Causeway hosiptal in the lecture theatre.

The group is supported by local heath care professionals who offer advice on drug management improved breathing techniques, aids to improve life.The group has guest speakers, organised coach trips, socal events etc.

Everyone is welcome to come along and join the group, have a cup of tea and a chat with members who are very willing to share their life changing experiences.
