Chief Constable visits Antrim and Newtownabbey District

The Chief Constable was in Antrim this morning to discuss changes to local policing.

George Hamilton met with the senior policing team who will in charge of the new Antrim and Newtownabbey policing district.

From today, policing districts across Northern Ireland are changing to mirror the new council areas - going from eight districts to 11.

Superintendent Muir Clark has been appointed as the new District Commander for Antrim and Newtownabbey.

Chief Inspector Natalie Wilson will continue in her role as Area Commander for Antrim.
