Child assaulted in Kilfennan burglary
A child has been assaulted and a sum of money stolen from a house during an aggravated burglary in Kilfennan.
The incident occurred between 10.10 - 11.40pm on Tuesday night, May 10, in Grangewood Court.
A 15 year-old boy was attacked during the burglary.
Detective Constable Tony Douglas said: “I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the Grangewood Court area last night, or who may have information about the incident, to contact detectives at Strand Road on 101.
“Alternatively, information can be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
