Choir competition to be held
Aghalee Village Hall will stage their first ever Primary Schools Choir Competition on Friday 10th June at 7.30pm.
Ballinderry Primary School, Ballymacricket Primary School, St Mary’s Primary School, Derrymore and St Patrick’s Primary School, Aghagallon will all be taking part.
Each of the schools taking part will be invited to sing two songs, one of which must be a traditional Irish folk song while the other will be of their own choosing.
The winners will receive the “Mary Twigg Memorial Cup”.
The doors of Aghalee Village Hall will open at 6.30pm.
Adults will be charged £1 and children 50p.
