Christian convention in Fivemiletown

CHRISTIAN Endeavourers, past and present throughout Ireland, are already looking forward to the 96th Irish National Christian Endeavour Convention.

It will be held on 17th and 18th September, 2010 in Fivemiletown Methodist Church. This will be the first time for the annual event to come to the town which is an ideal venue for many travelling from a distance as it is on the main Belfast/Enniskillen Express.

The bus route and the church is only a matter of yards from the bus stop.

The Revd Paul Ritchie from Richhill will speak on the theme, ‘One God, One Family’. Gillian Ferguson, a leader of Carrickfergus Methodist Juniors and currently East Antrim Christian Endeavour Union’s President, will be installed as Irish Union President.

Preparations are already well under way and the Convention Planning Committee are organising activities for all includingjuniors, young people/young adults and seniors.

Delegates are expected from throughout Ireland and further afield
