Christmas fun in Coleraine Town Centre

Coleraine Borough Council is bringing some festive fun to Coleraine Town Centre in the coming weeks to Christmas!

The date not to be missed is Saturday, December 6, when for the first time ever, a magical ‘Giant Snow Globe’ arrives outside Coleraine Town Hall from 10.00am until 5.00pm.

The Globe is giving shoppers the opportunity to get inside and experience what it feels like to step inside a snow scene and be photographed!

While browsing through the town centre, shoppers will also be greeted by two ‘bouncing elves’ and entertained by the wonderful ‘Girona Orchestra’, making the day even more special.

Speaking ahead of the events Mayor of Coleraine, Councillor George Duddy said: “The arrival of the Snow Globe on marks the beginning of the town’s Christmas celebrations.

“Saturday 6th December is also ‘Small Business Saturday’ across the UK.

“The Coleraine Town Team is encouraging everyone to think about using your local small business providers on this day. I’d encourage everyone to take the time to visit Coleraine and its array of independent retailers and businesses who offer a wide range of products and services not only at Christmas but right throughout the year.”
