Christmas Tree festival in Dervock
A unique event is taking place at St. Colman’s Church, Dervock, in early December when a number of Christmas trees are being erected each telling part of the Christian story.
The ‘Christmas Tree Festival’ takes place on Saturday and Sunday, December 7 and 8. The event is similar to a flowe festival but with Christmas trees.
Ladies will be catering in the Allen and Adair Hall on both afternoons. A special service on the Sunday morning is being held and the festival will conclude with carols at 6 p.m.
