Church of God gives to charity

During the recent evening Harvest Thanksgiving service the magnificent sum of 1,400 was given by the Congregation.

This money in turn was equally divided between two very worthwhile causes:

Edwina Chambers (Drop in Ministries) was delighted to receive 700 and commented that this money will be used to provide food for many children in an orphanage in Burkina Faso (Africa).

Save the Children also benefitted and Margaret Hadden (Secretary of the local branch of Save the Children) expressed thanks for the generous sum of 700 which will be used to make a positive impact in the lives of children in great need.
