Church of God Kids of Promise Week

Brilliant, fantastic, amazing, exciting, promising, fun and fab are words used by the children to describe Kids of Promise.

There was a great excitement as the children made new friends and took part in a huge range of different activities. There was lots of opportunity to burn off energy and the children were very enthusiastic in their musical “warm ups” each morning; the walls were vibrating as a result!!

What a wonderful sight to see them all taking part in aerobics and ‘human snakes and ladders’! There was also arts and crafts with the girls creating their own jewellery as well as t-shirt painting and face painting! Bible truths were taught each day through creative storytelling and lively worship.

Children’s Ministry is an important and integral part of Church life in Ballymoney Church of God. The Kids of Promise staff team have a passion for the Gospel message and treat each child as an individual.

Much time and effort was invested in preparing for Kids of Promise week and it certainly was well rewarded with smiling faces all around. The entire programme had been developed to ensure that boredom was just not an option!

Ballymoney Church of God has a heart for the Community and Kids of Promise certainly reached out beyond the Church walls to children of all ages from all over town.
