The Fellowship Hall at Ballymoney Church of God had been given a very special makeover and the ‘Castle’ proved to be a popular attraction and excellent setting in which to host the ‘Armour of God’ themed week of activities for 4-10 year olds!

There was definitely no roomfor boredom as the children came each day to enjoy games, activities, crafts, Bible stories, cookery and much, much, more. It was wonderful to see children from the church and all over the community making new friends and having such fun together!

The kids’ lively Worship each morning was certainly very popular and it was wonderful to hear these young children learn and sing biblical truths in such an energetic way. Many parents commented on how much their children had enjoyed the entire week and are already planning to bring them next year!

Ballymoney Church of God has a heart for the Community and Kids of Promise certainly reached out beyond the Church walls to children of all ages from all over town.

Meanwhile, young people along with their Leaders met each evening for fun, fellowship and challenge.

There were all kinds of activities centred on the theme of ‘THRIVE’ providing a varied and exciting programme. The whole week was designed and created by all the Youth sections within the Church, under the Youth Ministry M.E.R.G.E. (Meet, Engage, Receive, Grow and Empower).

One of the highlights was the Worship led by the young people. It was a truly wonderful week of sharing faith, lively worship, fun and laughter. Ballymoney Church of God has a vibrant and growing Youth Department with many committed leaders who help empower these young people to achieve their God given potential.
