Church seminar in Moira

Mark Arnold, Chief Operating Officer from Urban Saints will be in Moira on November 12 to address some of the issues which churches face today in working with children with special needs.

This is the first time that the “All Inclusive Seminar” has been delivered in Northern Ireland and it will give churches and youth groups practical ideas on how to be more inclusive.

“Most children’s and youth workers want to include kids of all abilities and needs in what they do but many struggle to make this a reality,” said Mark, who has a teenage son on the autistic spectrum.

“There are many different kinds of special or additional needs, and each child can present different challenges and opportunities.”

The seminar takes place on Thursday 12th November at 7.30pm in St John’s Parish Centre, Main Street, Moira.
