Churches celebrate forty days of ReLENTless prayer

People from eighteen Lisburn Churches gathered in Lisburn City Centre on Easter Sunday afternoon to celebrate the 40 days of '˜ReLENTless Prayer' held during lent.

A praise band comprising musicians from some Lisburn churches led the singing of hymns that included, ‘O happy day’ and ‘See what a morning’.

Rev Paul Dundas (Christ Church Parish) welcomed all who gathered and gave a brief update of the project.

Also taking part were the Very Rev Canon Sam Wright (Lisburn Cathedral) and George Hilary (Lisburn Christian Fellowship).

Lewis Gibson (Trinity Methodist Church), Tina McCready (St Paul’s Parish) and Kathryn Millar (Lisburn City Church) each gave a brief testimony of the 40 days of prayer.
