“The wealth of excellent events really shows that Northern Ireland punches well above its weight in terms of world class event programmes and festivals from sporting initiatives to arts and cultural events.

“Our entry relates to our 2015 event which was Craig Breen’s Circuit debut win. As the winner will be decided by a public online vote we’d love all rally fans and Circuit supporters to help us get the top spot on the winners’ podium.”

The ‘Best Event’ entry with the most number of votes will take the crown and the public can each submit only one vote. The deadline is Thursday May 12 and to vote simply click on the link http://nitourismawards.com/2016-shortlist or visit www.nitourismawards.com.

This year’s Circuit of Ireland was held 7-9 April and the historic trophy was won by Waterford star Craig Breen and his co-driver Scott Martin.
