Circus style fun in the centre of town

Fancy a bit of clowning around? Don’t juggle your priorities and head straight for the central shopping area on 18th and 25th July.

The bandstand will be the ideal venue for face painting and balloon modelling while other circus acts will be located throughout the town.

Ballymena shoppers will be joined by amongst others The Rag Dolls, Mr Bubbles, The Sunny Strollers and Willow the Elf as they tell stories and bring extra fun and excitement to the streets.

All this exciting activity is being brought to you by Ballymena Business Improvement District.

The events take place between 12pm and 2pm on Saturday 18th July and Saturday 25th July.

Ballymena BID, which is run by its members and will spend £1.5m over five years on initiatives to market the town and help traders to attract more customers.

It will be funded by an annual levy of 1.5% on the rateable value of properties, with businesses directly controlling the projects implemented in the town.

For every £1 delivered through the levy £3 of value will be delivered to the economy in return.
