“It also supports our efforts to enhance the welcome over the last year with the introduction of a new ‘Meet and Great Service.’

“In addition to the on-the-ground delivery we have worked closely with partners including Foyleside Shopping Centre and local tour guides to ensure a high quality visitor experience.

“The city welcomes coach tour operators from across the globe all year round and it is important that they enjoy an exceptional service on arrival as it encourages them to return time and time again”.

The awards recognise excellence and innovation across the coach tourism industry. Now in its 11th year, the 2016 event will take place alongside the British Tourism and Travel Show on March 16 at Vox, Resorts World Birmingham, NEC.
