City suppliers to learn how toget water deals

LONDONDERRY suppliers will be advised on how bid for millions of pounds worth of Northern Ireland Water (NI Water) goods and services contracts at a procurement workshop on March 14.

NI Water is a major presence in the local commercial world, and awarded 119 new contracts to companies of varying size in the 2011/12 financial year alone.

Suppliers can book a 20 minute slot with an NI Water procurement officer, who will guide them through the services required by the company as a major investor in the local economy. Those interested in attending will be required to pre-register, which will include giving NI Water some background information on your company.
