Claimed benefits not entitled to
A woman was convicted at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court last Friday for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.
Liubov Semcenko (56) of Wellington Street, Lurgan, claimed Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £3,053 while failing to declare employment. She was given 100 hours community service. She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained.
