‘Clap for our carers’ tonight
The public are being asked to ‘pause for applause’ tonight (Thursday, March 26) at 8pm to cheer on all the NHS workers battling against the Coronavirus.
An online social media campaign with the slogan #clapforourcarers is asking everyone to join in with a huge round of applause from their balconies, gardens, windows, front doors, living rooms at 8pm.
The idea is to show support for “all nurses, doctorss, GPs, and carers to show our appreciation for their ongoing hard work and fight against this virus”.
