Clarke welcomes job creation in area

Coleraine DUP Councillor, Trevor Clarke, has welcomed news of job creation across Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area.

He was speaking after Department of Enterprise, Trade & Investment Minister, Jonathan Bell MLA, announced a combined investment of £3m by seven Causeway Coast & Glens based businesses, and the creation of 51 new jobs.

 Cllr Clarke said: “The news of investments across these companies resulting in the creation of 51 local jobs is to be welcomed. It is particularly pleasing to see local businesses having the ability to grow and confidence to invest in their futures.

“This doesn’t happen by chance.

“I applaud the leadership in these organisations whose hard work has made their respective investments possible. The £1m of salaries generated on the back of £1/4m worth of Invest NI support will be a significant shot in the arm for our local economy.”
