Classic car display at leisure centre

Warren Park Car Park at the Lagan Valley Leisure Complex, is the venue for a spectacular Classic Car Display on Sunday 26th April 2015 in aid of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

Organised by Banbridge Old Vehicle Club, approximately 200 vehicles are expected to be on view from 12 noon until 5pm.

As well as vintage and classic cars, there will be a special display of Military Vehicles and a vast display of cars manufactured during the last 100 years will be on show. Everything from a 100 year old Model T Ford, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lagonda, Jaguar, Mercedes and other luxury cars.

It is hoped that every British make will be represented together with Alfa Romeo, B M W, Volvo, Citroen etc. Sports and exotic cars such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, M G and Triumph, and rally cars will also be there.

Event Organiser, Ken McDevitte said;“We are delighted to once again support NI Children’s Hospice though our Classic Car Display in Warren Park, opposite the Lagan Valley Hospital on the A1 Hillsborough Road Lisburn BT28 1JP”.

Jenay Doyle, Community Fundraiser for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice said, “We would like to thank Ken and all the members of Banbridge Old Vehicle Club for their continued support. We are the only Children’s Hospice in Northern Ireland providing specialist nursing care to local life-limited children and their families. It is because of the support of events such as this that we are able to provide this care.”

Vehicle owners participating in the event are requested to assemble from 11am. Entrance is free and it is hoped the public support will raise substantial funds for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice on Sunday 26th April 2015.
