If you own a classic car and would like to take part then please come to Lagan Valley Island on the morning of the September 13 at 9.15am and register your car.

The cost to participate is £10 per person, which includes light refreshments at the end of the run.

Councillor Andrew Ewing, speaking about the event, said: “The cars taking part will depart Lagan Valley Island at 10am and drive in convoy fashion to Dromara, where they will stop for a display at Begney Hill.

“I would encourage the local residents to come along and view the cars at this stop as they are an impressive sight.

“After departing Dromara the cars will head to the Harry Ferguson Memorial Garden for photographs and then travel onwards to Hillsborough for another stop and display before having refreshments to mark the end of a great day.

“I look forward to not only taking part in the event but also meeting the local residents who visit the displays.” At the scheduled Hillsborough stop there will be Marie Curie collectors present to collect donations from the public for this very worthwhile cause.
