Claudy NewYear thanks

A CLAUDY man - diagnosed with a rare inflammatory illness twenty years ago - has thanked all of those who came along to a New Year’s Eve party in Tullintrain and helped raise £620 for a charity aimed at supporting sufferers.

The party took place in the SALT community hall and the money raised will be divided between National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS) and the Sperrin Room (Altnagelvin).

Stephen Falconer and his family would like to thank everyone who attended for their support and generosity. They also thanked local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle.

Meanwhile, an Old Tyme dance will take place in the SALT community hall on Friday, January 11.

Music will be provided by 2 Star Country Dancing from 9pm until 12pm. Everyone is welcome.
