Cleansing and Environmental Health merger at council

Carrickfergus Borough Council is advising residents that the Cleansing and Environmental Health departments of the local authority are to merge to become Environmental Services Admin.

The new merged department, which will come into effect from Monday July 2, will be based at Environmental Services in the Civic Centre.

As a result, some services will no long be available to the public at the Civic Amenity Site at Sullatober. However, the local authority says they will be easily accessible by calling in at Environmental Services in the Civic Centre, Antrim Street, telephoning 028 9335 8000 or 028 9335 1192; emailing [email protected]; or contacting the department through www.carrickfergus.org.
