Clooney man faceschild porn charges
A forty-four-year-old man from the Clooney Estate appeared in court in Londonderry accused of child porn offences.
Gareth McAuley, of Heron Way, is charged with possessing, making and distributing an indecent image of a child.
The charges were allegedly committed on July 5, last year.
An investigating officer from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) told Londonderry Magistrates Court he believed that he could connect the 44-year-old to the charges.
The defendant was released on continuing bail but is due to appear in court again on June 5.
