Closure of Eglantine Road

NI Water is carrying out works as part of its £14m Castor Bay to Belfast Water Trunk Main Scheme – an extensive project which will safeguard water quality and improve the security of supply for its customers.

NI Water and its contractor Lagan Construction will strive to minimise any disruption associated with the work, however, residents may experience some vehicular restrictions as the pipelaying work passes the front of their property. Site personnel will facilitate pedestrian access for residents directly affected by the works.

NI would like to remind the public that construction sites are a dangerous area for children and young people and we would appreciate the co-operation of the community in ensuring that children do not play around the works or machinery.
