Cloughfern parade: Motorists warned to expect traffic disruption

Police are advising motorists of possible traffic disruption between 6pm and 9pm tomorrow evening (Friday) due to parades in Rathcoole and Cloughfern.

Cloughfern District LOL No 24 will be holding their annual parade at 7pm, with motorists being advised to expect traffic delays throughout the event.

A number of feeder parades will be taking place in Rathcoole before the main parade. One parade will make its way to Cloughfern Orange Hall via Tulleevin Walk, Renagh Park, Tulleevin Drive, Knockenagh Avenue and the Doagh Road.

Another feeder parade will go to Cloughfern Orange Hall via Derrycoole Way, Glenbane Avenue, Glanroy Terrace, Old Irish Highway, Knockenagh Avenue, Tullevin Drive, Knockenagh Avenue and the Doagh Road.

The main parade will start at Cloughfern Orange Hall, before heading along the Doagh Road, Fernagh Road, Fernagh Parade, Ypres Park, Old Station Road, Shore Road, through Whiteabbey Village, along the Shore Road, Glenville Road, Monkstown Avenue and the Dough Road.
