“The Community Action team is delighted to receive this generous donation from Moore's of Cloughmills. The money will be used to support a number of different projects around the village, including the Golden-Oldies Group, the Boys and Girls Football Club, the Youth Group and the Environmental Group.

“The Community Action Team is very keen to encourage a 'shop local' approach, a study we carried out recently revealed that every pound spent in Cloughmills triples in value due to the fact that it supports employment or services and continues to generate further income to be retained locally. The support of Moore's is just another example of this virtuous circle”.

Richard Moore of Moore's said, “As a local convenience store we are here to serve the community and the Making a Difference scheme is a great way to do that. The items that contribute to the scheme change on a regular basis but information is always available in the store. We look forward to supporting the Community Action Team for many years to come”.
