The poster included in the picture gives details of the Cloughmills Vintage Clubs annual Road Run which will take place on Saturday September the 24th 2016. But what it doesnt say on the poster is that tea will be served to the drivers prior to the start of the run, and that they will be furnished with goodie bags to take with them on their journey. At the half-way point there will be a Comfort Stop where food and refreshments will be available. The money realised from the run, plus the proceeds from the clubs vintage rally earlier in the Summer will be divided equally to two worthwhile charities - Marie Curie Care and The Macmillan Unit at Antrim Area Hospital, where a very valued member of the club, the late Declan McCaughan from Glenshesk, spent some time before departing this life back last year 2015.
