The man is understood to have been found at an address in Hanover Mews in the centre of the village.A post mortem is due to take place to determine the cause of death.Last month Amy Reid (21) from Coolnafranky Park, Cookstown died during a house party in Coagh.Mr Buchanan said, “This is very sad news today and my thoughts are with the family of the male. "His death is thought to have been drugs related, which is truly shocking news for the entire community. This news comes after the recent death of a young female in Coagh, which was also drugs related."Mr Buchanan said unfortunately drugs had become a scourge on our society."They endanger life and sadly today we have seen the consequences of that with the death of a young male, whose life has been untimely cut short," he continued. "I have requested a meeting with the PSNI on the issue of drugs within the community. It is vital that Police combat the issue of drugs on our streets, so that we do not see further drugs related deaths. "I would urge anyone with any information on illegal drugs within the local area to contact the police.”Ulster Unionist Assembly member Sandra Overend described the man's death as a tragedy.Mrs Overend said: “I was terribly saddened to learn of another death in the Coagh area, coming just weeks after the tragic death of Amy Reid.“This is another tragedy for the local area, and my thoughts and prayers go to the family of the man that has passed away.”
