Coalisland man fined £15,000

A COALISLAND man has been fined £15,000 for a planning offence.

Pascal Quinn, of Loughview Road, was ordered to pay the fine plus £1,104 legal costs and £26 court costs at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court after being found guilty of non compliance with a DOE Planning Enforcement Notice.

Mr Quinn was charged with the unauthorised erection of two industrial buildings and hardcore at lands south of 177 Annagher Road, Coalisland.

This is the second fine for Mr Quinn with regards to this offence.

In June 2010 he was fined £6,000 with court and legal costs of £85.
