Coastal zone exhibit wrecked
A Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) Coastal Zone display in Portrush has been badly damaged by vandals.
The vandalism took place between Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 September. The NIEA has made a rallying call for any witnesses to contact the PSNI.
Commenting on the vandalism John Cowan, NIEA said: “A lot of time and effort has been carried out to make the area of the Coastal Zone more attractive for visitors and local residents in Portrush. DOE has invested over £500 to purchase and plant out flowers in this exhibit for the enjoyment of all.”
