Coffee morning raises money for charity
A coffee morning organised by members of the Banbridge Committee of Cancer Research NI raised over £1,000 last Saturday morning at the Old Town Hall, Banbridge.
Supporting the event local Ulster Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson said: “Cancer leaves few families untouched and it was great to see so many people coming out on Saturday morning to support the coffee morning and an extremely important and worthy cause.
“I was absolutely delighted to hear the magnificent sum which was raised and send my congratulations to everyone involved for their continued work on behalf of the charity.”
