Coffee morning raises over £1,000 for Charlene’s Project

Ulster Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson, who attended the coffee morning, praised Amanda and her team for a ‘job well done’.

She said: “I was delighted when Amanda told me on Sunday morning she had raise £920.50 on the day but have received over £100 since then. This is a fantastic achievement for Amanda and all those people who helped to make the coffee morning such a wonderful success.

“I never cease to be amazed at the generosity of people who give so much to worthy causes such as Charlene’s Project, which do so much good in this world.

“This will help Amanda and others to travel to Uganda in June to view the incredible progress which Charlene’s project is making in a country where so many are in need of our help.”

Craigavon’s Mayor Cllr Carla Lockhart said, “Saturday’s coffee morning was a huge success and I would pay tribute Amanda and her team of helpers for organising this hugely successful event and for raising the amazing total of over £1000.00. Amanda clearly has a vision and a passion to improve the lives of others and that is highly commendable.”
