Coffee Morning thanks

Valerie Moore, proprietor of Home Sweet Home gift store on Bond Street in the Waterside, has thanked those who recently supported her charity coffee morning.

The event, in aid of Macmillan, raise well in excess of £1,000.

Thanking all those who took part or made donations on Friday, September 19, Mrs Moore, proprietor of Home Sweet Home, Bond Street, said: “Thank you to all those that donated as they walked or drove passed the shop. Thank you to those that put donations in the box at the shop, friends and family for all the beautiful cakes, scones and tray bakes.

“Thank you to the kindness of Starbucks Crescent Link, the Pram Centre, The Beaufort Hotel, Mackeys Costcutter, Crawfords Bakery, Irish Street Community Centre and not forgetting John and Cynthia.

“Without you all, it would not have been possible to raise the grand amount of £1100 for this very worthwhile cause. Thank you.”
