Coffee morningorganised byPUP on Saturday

On Saturday the Lurgan branch of the Progressive Unionist Party will be holding a coffee morning in Magheralin Orange
Hall.

The branch have been working very hard recently, helping to solve issues that residents have been experiencing, working with the relevant governmental and council organisations to bring satisfactory resolutions.

The branch are aware though that there are many more issues out there affecting people in the village and with this in mind, they have decided to hold an open and informal coffee morning, where local residents are encouraged to just pop in and come and see the branch representatives who will be
present.

One of those who will be present is Lurgan branch chairman Aaron Dowey, who said: “Since the Lurgan PUP branch was formed two years ago, we have been very active in Magheralin, helping out with any issues we can, so as a branch we decided it would be good to hold this coffee morning and make ourselves available to listen to and hopefully help with any more issues which may be ongoing in the area.”

Aaron continued: “It’s a good opportunity for people to come and see us and in a more relaxed setting, so if there’s any issues in the village which people think we can help them with, if they want to come in with suggestions or ideas or if they just want to come in for a friendly chat, hot drink and a snack, we’re looking forward to having the residents of Magheralin call in.”

The coffee morning will be held in the Orange Hall from 10am to 12noon and tea and coffee as well as sandwiches and other light snacks will be available for those who call in.
