Coleraine College open season with victory

COLERAINE College fifth year football team got their season off with to a good start with a 2-0 home win over Dunluce.

James Nesbitt opened the scoring in the 24th minute when he converted full back Harry Kilgore’s sublime cross from close range.

Coleraine almost netted a second ten minutes into the second half when the Dunluce keeper made a fantastic save from Kilgore’s goal-bound shot.

The home side then had a let off when goalkeeper Nathan Holmes saved a Dunluce penalty after David Edgar was adjudged to have handled in the box.

Coleraine College made the result safe three minutes from time when Craig Moore’s defence-splittng pass was slotted home by David Edgar
