Coleraine man charged in connection with a £50,000 drugs seizure
A Coleraine man was remanded in custody yesterday (Wednesday) charged in connection with a £50,000 drugs seizure on the outskirts of Belfast.
Peter Neill was arrested by police investigating the discovery of suspected methedrone in the Mallusk area of Newtownabbey on February 13.
The 45-year-old, of Hazelbank Road, Coleraine, appeared before Belfast Magistrates’ Court charged with attempted possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply.
No application for bail was made during the brief hearing.
Neill was remanded in custody to appear again by video-link on May 9.
