Coleraine man facing multiple sex charges
A COLERAINE man is facing nine charges of sexual assault and four of indecent assault on a female child.
Shakir Raza (36), of Hazeldene Drive, is to contest the charges which relate to alleged incidents on dates between December 31, 2008 and February 3, 2009.
Raza’s barrister, Neil Moore, told last Wednesday’s sitting of North Antrim Magistrates Court that a contested hearing would take up to a day-and-a-half to conclude.
The case was adjourned to North Antrim Magistrates on October 15.
