Coleraine soldier ‘hoofs it’ to Olympics*HEADLINE TO G0 HERE

ROYAL Signals soldier Christopher Robson from Coleraine has been in Greenwich for two weeks now doing venue security at the Olympic stables.

And the 23-year-old has been rubbing shoulders with the great and the good.

“It’s a great experience to get to work at the Olympics,” he said.

“I didn’t know much about horses before I came here but now I’m becoming a bit of an expert. I’ve seen Zara Philips, Mike Tindall, the Duke of Edinburgh, Princess Anne in her Team GB tracksuit, that made me feel really proud.

“It was weird to see them walking around working on the ground in normal clothes, so used to seeing them in their finery on TV.”
