Coleraine WI support Children’s Cancer fund with donation

She presented a cheque to Mollie Clarke and Heather Pollock, representative for Children’s Cancer Fund for Northern Ireland, on behalf of the members.

The guest speaker was Brian Rankin, farmer and poet, who entertained members with his poetry, Theatre of Dreams (with the daisy wreath) and the Heavenly Sunset that got away - he had the ladies laughing heartily.

The winner of the monthly competition was Maureen Rankin, with Isobel Kennedy second and Willa Robinson third.

The Birthday Girl was Joyce Jackson. The evening ended with a rendition of The Country Woman’s Song.
