The court heard a black Jaguar car was observed by police at approximately 1.30am on October 3 in the Newbridge Road area.

Officers stopped the car and a preliminary breath test was carried out which McClarty failed. She was arrested and taken to Coleraine Police Station where a second breath test was taken.
The defendant was found to be 17micrograms in excess of the legal limit.
A solicitor said that Mrs McClarty had made a misjudgement on the night and believed she was fit to drive, but the couple of glasses of wine she drank took its toll on her as she had eaten very little during the day.
