‘Fifty Ways to Kill Your Lover’ - Episode 7 - ‘The Dentist’, will be broadcast this Thursday, May 23.

The programme investigates how the local dentist fooled the RUC into believing it was a double suicide.

‘50 Ways To Kill Your Lover’ tells the story of real cases, from the UK and US, where couples’ disagreements have ended in bloodshed

This week’s programme details how in 2011, Howell confessed his crimes to an Elder of his Baptist Church, who reported him to the police.

His conviction of sexually abusing some of his female patents is also examined.

The programme will be shown at 9pm on Sky channel Sky 553, and Sky 554 22.00.

Howell’s wife in this episode is played by rising Belfast actress Amy Molloy.

She featured in a recent episode of Call The Midwife.
