THE Apprentice Boys of Derry have raised £2,206 for the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and Altnagelvin Children’s Ward.
The organisers have thanked all those who contributed and made their collection, on August 11, such a great success.
The charities were chosen by the ABOD as their chosen charities for 2012/2013, and it is planned to make the presentations to both hospital wards at a gala event next year. The ABOD is striving to raise as much as possible for both hospital wards in the coming year and welcomes donations from groups or individuals.
